I suggest you read them in the following order:

Herrick – “To the Virgins”
Donne – “A Valediction, Forbidding Mourning”, a pretty cool one if you read it real close
end with: “Death Be Not Proud” it is a great one that will lift your spirits!

    I don’t know where “Death be not Proud!” is in the textbook. I usually can find things easily, but I can’t find this one! Is it not in the book somehow? I looked in the glossary and there is nothing with that title or close to it. The other ones are listed. It’s a mystery to me.

    thanks for asking. It is listed as Holy Sonnet 10 – on page 427. This is why I listed the page numbers as well on the board on Friday…sorry about the mixup!
