Hi everyone…

I just finished commenting on your comments from the ‘Barbara Allan’ post, and my mind is just whirring. I am amazed, blown away, and totally jazzed at the depth of response you each gave. Right on, everyone! Your answers were succint and thoughtful, and I hope you enjoyed writing them and enjoy reading each other’s comments.
I am thinking the team blog will be a massive help to improving comments….this will allow you each to write your own posts, and others can comment on them.
Check it out, Aaron in Mexico City has checked in on the team blog!
I gotta tell you all up front that I am wondering about moving the team blog to a better blog hosting service. Blogger is great, but the downside is that we can’t post our comments in any categories, which would make it way less effective (for example, we can’t have a category for ‘vocabulary’ that you can click on and bring up all the vocab we have done so far….) this is a bummer, and I am wondering about moving over to another platform. I want this experience in blogging to be a good one for you all, as well as for myself. I will keep you ‘posted’ on that one…
Ahhh….Green Knights….gotta love ‘em. For those of you who sat in on today’s class, we read through to approx. ln.250 of “Sir Gawain…” I had forgotten how gruesome and odd this tale is, as the last time I read it was for a University course 3 or so years ago….
Please try and make it through reading the rest of the story for Tuesday’s class, where we will assemble to discuss and take apart the tale (perhaps we should do a ‘circle’ discussion with the desks in honour of the Knights of the Round Table….)
