These blogs are a good idea because they will help students who have missed that day of school or have forgotten what was assigned that day.

I think that if I were a character from ‘The Canturbury Tales’ I would be the Knight! (Just kidding. I could never be a knight. After spending a day with a box over my head, I have come to the conclusion that the clothing would be too restrictive for me.)
We should come up with pet names for the characters in ‘Tales’. Like the cleric could be Screech because it seems like he is a bit nerdy. It would fit well.

    Thank you for your comments,

Iain, thanks for the input. I hope the blog will help keep us all up to date… Your blog question is a good one, which I hope to look at in class as we examine them more.

Ellie, I like your idea about using nicknames for the characters. I think this would help us all ‘encode’ the characters into our own brains by putting them in the context of our own experience. Your example of ‘Screech’ for the Cleric is a great one, as I immediately see Screech from ‘Saved by the Bell’ in my head and this helps me remember what kind of character the Cleric is.
Thanks for the idea, keep them coming!
